Side effects

Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Constipation, Abdominal pain, Headache

Serious (less common)

Pancreatitis, Gallbladder disease, Acute kidney injury, Diabetic retinopathy complications

When to contact a clinician

Severe, persistent abdominal pain (possible pancreatitis) — seek care immediately
Signs of severe allergic reaction (swelling, trouble breathing)
Persistent vomiting leading to dehydration
Vision changes if you have diabetic retinopathy
